Aaron brings a deep knowledge of cloud architecture, enterprise software, and over 20 years of managerial experience and vision to his role as CEO of SecureCloudDB. Previously, Aaron founded BlocWatch and served as the COO of CloudCheckr, Inc, where he helped it grow to nearly 200 people.
Prior to founding CloudCheckr, Aaron spent over 15 years in the financial industry. He earned a J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo and a B.A. from Brandeis University. Aaron currently serves on the Board at the Flaum Eye Institute at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Aaron is a serial entrepreneur who previously founded other successful startups: BlocWatch, CloudCheckr, Techrigy, DbSecure, and Application Security, Inc. He previously served as CEO of CloudCheckr. Aaron authored the books Enterprise 2.0, printed by McGraw-Hill, and Oracle Security Handbook, printed by Oracle Press. He is an acclaimed international speaker on technology topics and has been awarded multiple patents in database security and social media.
Prior to DbSecure, Aaron held technology positions at Price Waterhouse, Bankers Trust, and as an independent IT consultant. Aaron proudly served in the U.S. Army during the First Gulf War. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Strong National Museum of Play.
David has nearly 30 years of expertise managing network and software security. Prior to SecureCloudDB he spent more than two decades at Microsoft and led the IBM Internet Security Systems (ISS) development team for the Internet Scanner for Windows NT.
David is co-author of five books including the most recently published 24 Deadly Sins of Software Security: Programming Flaws and How to Fix Them and the widely read Writing Secure Code. He has been awarded multiple patents, sits on the Technical Advisory board of IOActive, Inc., and lectures at the University of Washington Bothell. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Jason has spent his career working on distributed database and analytic technologies. Before SecureCloudDB, Jason founded BlocWatch and was a principal engineer at HERE Technologies, where his focus was on solving the problems of ingesting and analyzing exabytes of high-volume spatial data. Earlier in his career, Jason served in senior engineering positions at Amazon Web Services, DreamBox Learning, and SDL plc.
Code is a Managing Director at Mistral Venture Partners out of Ottawa. He has over 25 years of experience as a founder, operating executive, and investor, and has been involved with more than 50 early-stage companies as an investor/founder. Before Mistral, Code was the COO at Zephyr Technology - a VC backed startup focused on Remote Physiological Monitoring. Code was a Partner at Motorola Ventures, where he led investments in Foundry, Dilithium Networks, Zephyr Technology, Intelleflex, Apprion, and Dart Devices. Before MV, Code was a Principal at Gabriel Venture Partners, where he handled a vast number of investments, including CrossMedia, Encentuate, LVL7 Networks, and Kajeet. Prior to his investing career, Code was a radio frequency (RF) design engineer at IBM Corporation and CIENA, specializing in high-speed communications circuits.
